What do the different terms mean?
A portfolio is a group of securities that are analyzed together. A portfolio can be made of any number of securities, from one to one-thousand or more.
Portfolios can be constructed, for free, without limit. You can also buy pre-constructed portfolios from our marketplace. We also custom-design portfolios.
The Portfolios in our marketplace are priced according to the number of securities they contain. The average price multiple is $0.50 per security. Custom-designed portfolios cost $1.00 to $2.00 per security, plus set-up fee.
Portfolios can be edited - meaning securities can be added to or deleted from it, including the portfolios you buy.
There is no limit to the number of portfolios you can hold.
An Analysis Template is a tool to identify the componets of a ratio, regression or equation. The components are financial statement and market data.
Construction of the actual ratios happens on a spreadsheet (via an export).
Analysis Templates can only be built, not purchased. There is no limit to the number of ATs that can be constructed.

Annual and quarterly information going back at least four years is available. Market information includes last closing price, quote change, market capitalization, beta and alpha.
An Analysis Model is a ratio, regression or financial equation contructed from financial statement and market data.
Analysis Models cannot be constructed, only purchased, although some common ratios are offered for free in our marketplace. We can also custom design them for you.
Most AMs range between $25 to $50. The price depends on the complexity of the model and/or the price the seller wishes to ask.
Custom design work also depends upon the complexity of the AM.
When an Analysis Model is applied to a Portfolio our software performs the calculation and the results for each security are presented. These results can be optionally exported to a spreadsheet.
A Financial Model is composed of more than one financial ratio, regression or equation. Another way of saying the same thing is a FM is composed of Analysis Models.
A Financial Model is built from the Analysis Models you already own. There is no charge to build them yourself. There are FMs available for sale in our marketplace and we can also custom design them.

Financial Models can also include rating sytems and can be used for security screens.
